Main Feel Of The Event

The Planning for Housing Conference – Northern Edition follows the success of our first edition in the North, and the third edition of Planning For Housing London in September. This Northern Edition is set to be a key gathering of senior planning, regeneration and housing professionals to address the most pertinent planning challenges related to housing in the Northern region, and will discuss how we can deliver enough housing to meet the growing demand for new homes in areas where we need them most.

During the research for the event, there was high demand for it to address this challenge in great detail through practical and engaging sessions, but also with the chance to debate and discuss some of the most recent planning and housing policy changes. As such, the day has been split into main room and breakout sessions. Main room sessions will allow for debate and thought leadership. The breakout sessions will allow for practical, take-away advice and sharing of on-the- ground experiences. Please bear this in mind when preparing for your session.

Audience

The conference aims to bring together about 60 senior public and private sector planning and housing professionals from key organisations such as Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester, DAC Beachcroft LLP, Planning Potential, Randall Thorp LLP and Sunderland City Council.

Briefings Before/On The Day

If you would like to discuss your speaking session in more detail before the event, please arrange a convenient time with Aziliz Du Fay. On the day, the Event Manager and/or Event Producer will meet with you during registration/the break before your session to brief you and ensure you are all set. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time and send us your slides (if applicable) in advance as well as bringing a copy on a USB just in case.

Presentations

If you are showing slides in your session, please send them to Gemma Wilkinson by Tuesday 21st February. Please ensure that your slides are in 16:9 format ratio. If you wish to use video or audio files, please provide these as separate files for the on-site AV team.

Feedback

There will be evaluation forms circulating on the day on which delegates will score and chart their thoughts on your session. You will be sent your scores after the event, once all of the forms have been collated and analysed. Please also complete one yourself to let us know your thoughts on the event.
