Cutty Sark plans discussed

Plans to develop gardens around the Cutty Sark in Greenwich are being discussed by councillors this week. The London Borough of Greenwich wants to improve the environment and setting of the gardens, which are a gateway to the Maritime Greenwich world heritage site. The proposals follow plans to renovate the historic ship that have attracted £12 million in Heritage Lottery funding and were given consent last year.
