Sewerage upgrade set to stall renewal

A £200 million waterfront regeneration scheme in Llanelli could face big delays after it emerged that the town's sewerage network needs a major upgrade.

The Environment Agency Wales is recommending that new developments in the 40ha regeneration project should not be connected to the sewer until work is completed, which could take until 2010....
