Introduction

Alliance Planning has grown rapidly on the recommendation of Clients to fellow professionals to become one of the UK's leading independent town planning practices.  The Company has always understood it is the individuals within it that make it successful and, as such, Alliance Planning has always supported and encouraged its staff. 

We have three Offices, Guildford, Birmingham and most recently London.  Through this network we deliver national planning, environmental and regeneration advice. We act for private and public sector clients across all areas of town planning and development from education, employment, housing, leisure, minerals, policy and research, major urban regeneration, mixed use development, retail, rural and farm diversification, transport and logistics and waste management.

Training and career development

Alliance Planning is committed to growing individuals' knowledge and understanding of detailed issues through internal and external CPD programmes. We also encourage staff to undertake training and development activities, which is an integral part of the annual staff reviews.  This review process is used to proactively forward plan individual's training and professional needs. We also work with Clients and fellow Consultants to provide either individual or group events to increase awareness of wider issues outside of planning, regeneration and the environment.
