Council staff offered training
Planning, 5 September 2008
Council staff who interact with planning but are not qualified planners are being offered training to help them better understand the system.
The Planning for Non-Planners programme has been jointly developed by the Academy for Sustainable Communities and the British Urban Regeneration Association. The two-day course runs next month and on several dates in the spring. The course has already been piloted by senior and middle managers at Kirklees Council.
