Competition launched for university students

A competition has been launched to encourage university students to design the "connected community of the future".

Global technology firm Cisco's Urban 2020 competition asks students to use sustainable ecological principles and consider the impact on communities of a changing society, the environment and technological advances. The closing date is 27 February. Finalists' ideas will be showcased at the RIBA with £2,000 on offer to the winning entry.
