Plans to help Devon County Council

Plans for an energy from waste plant in Exeter that has been proposed to help Devon County Council improve recycling and recovery were lodged this week. Viridor Waste Management has submitted an application for the facility after public and stakeholder consultation. The plant will be capable of handling up to 60,000 tonnes of municipal waste and will generate electricity and usable heat for local business.
