Residents in Leeds consulted on options

Residents in Leeds are being consulted on three options for an area's renewal. The East and South East Leeds project aims to rejuvenate the most deprived communities in the city and create a better mix of housing. The option for the lowest level of change would see around 2,200 homes built, mainly in Gipton and Seacroft, of which 15 per cent would be affordable. The most radical proposal envisages almost 10,000 homes, with 25 to 30 per cent affordable, along with schools, jobs and improved green spaces.
