York City Council hires Hepher Dixon

York City Council has hired Hepher Dixon to help it present evidence at a public inquiry into proposals for a 65ha university campus at Heslington. The campus will feature more than 230,000m2 of research and teaching facilities, student housing and premises for knowledge-based research and development businesses connected to the university. The council supports the plans but the application was called in because of its significance and the planning issues involved.
