Milton Keynes Partnership hands in advisory document

Milton Keynes Partnership handed an advisory document to the government's South East Plan examination in public panel this week. The paper suggests a long-term vision of how the city could grow to accommodate another 300,000 people by 2031. The vision recognises that Milton Keynes should have a range of housing built to the highest energy efficiency standards but does not ask the panel to consider housing growth beyond 2026. An east-west rail link connecting the city to Oxford and Bedford are also suggested along with highways improvements.
