Plans for the Peak District national park

A scheme for one of the largest industrial estates in the Peak District national park is to be devised by planning officers working with Litton Properties. The park authority aims to help the developer with its plans for the Riverside Business Park in Bakewell after its members deferred a decision for a second time. The committee was unhappy with a proposal for more than 100 open-market homes and has asked officers to help Litton explore avenues for public funding.
