Halcrow to identify a series of regeneration projects

Halcrow is to identify a series of regeneration projects to improve Cinderford in the Forest of Dean over the next 20 years. The business plan is being developed for Forest of Dean District Council alongside the South West of England Regional Development Agency and English Partnerships. The project will involve local community consultation, which will be overseen by the Cinderford Regeneration Board. Proposals for land use, management measures and environmental improvements will feed into an area action plan. It is hoped that investment opportunities can be taken forward through English Partnerships' national coalfields programme.
