Strict planning policy issued by Northern Ireland DoE

Strict planning policy to minimise flood risk and help tackle climate change has been issued by Northern Ireland's Department of the Environment. Environment minister David Cairns said the updated policy aims to ensure that new development is not at risk from flooding and does not increase flooding elsewhere.
