Doncaster councillors urged to protect rural areas

Doncaster councillors are being urged to protect rural areas to the east of the town by including them in the green belt. The Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) says that the review of the borough's planning policy is an opportunity to safeguard the countryside from development. It argues that the countryside protection area designation is only temporary.
