Draft planning brief to be considered for Talbot Gateway

A draft planning brief for the renewal of Talbot Gateway was set to be considered by Blackpool Borough Council this week. The brief will be used to guide developers and help determine planning applications for the area, which is planned to become a civic and cultural quarter. Urban regeneration company ReBlackpool has already selected three potential development partners for the 12.8ha site (Planning, 26 May, p5). Phase one is due to begin next year and to be completed by 2010.
