Latest Thames Gateway Bridge forecasts

Latest Thames Gateway Bridge forecasts fail to take the congestion charge increase to £8 into account, Transport for London (TfL) has revealed. Halcrow director of transport planning Richard Smith acknowledged the "oversight" at the first day of the reopened inquiry. He said that nobody from TfL asked the consultancy to update the charge, so it continued to use the old figure of £5 to calculate traffic in 2016. A revision of the forecasts is not being considered at this stage, he added.
