Five North West projects chosen

Five North West projects have been chosen as exemplars of good practice by regeneration agency RENEW Northwest. The projects are Another Place in South Sefton, the Bacup Health Centre, Greater Manchester Communities on the Move, the George Street Quarter in St Helens and Regeneration Apprentices in east Manchester. They have been awarded exemplar learning status for 2006 and will be showcased at workshops to help other regeneration professionals. A report on the findings of RENEW's exemplar programme by Professor Peter Roberts, chairman of the Academy for Sustainable Communities, can be viewed via www.PlanningResource.co.uk.
