DIFA tower secures CABE support

The proposed DIFA tower in London secured the support of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) this week. The Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed scheme on Bishopsgate will be the tallest of the current wave of tower proposals in the City of London. CABE praised the "striking and potentially beautiful" architecture of the proposal and the way it relates to the skyline. But it stressed that design standards should be safeguarded throughout the planning process.
