Padiham to benefit from funding

A major renewal programme in Padiham, Lancashire, is set to benefit from up to £1 million in funding from the Northwest Development Agency. The area is being regenerated through the Padiham Life initiative to reposition itself as a thriving market town. The scheme will create 50 jobs, provide 32 learning opportunities, support 39 existing businesses and create a further eight commercial concerns.
