Plans submitted for Wolverhampton development

Plans for Wolverhampton's £67 million i54 development have been submitted to the city council and South Staffordshire Council. Regional development agency Advantage West Midlands, which owns the Wobaston Road site, lodged the application last week. It hopes to transform 89ha of brownfield land next to the M54 into a major employment site, creating around 6,000 mainly hi-tech jobs by 2020. Planning approval is expected by spring next year.
