Final phase of Mailbox development in Birmingham given green light

The final phase of the Mailbox development in Birmingham has been given the green light by city councillors. The Cube, designed by architects MAKE, is a 17-storey building that will include the city's first rooftop restaurant, a hotel, flats, office space, shops and an atrium lined with coloured glass and metal. Birmingham Development Company aims to begin demolition on the derelict site next spring.
