Milton Keynes College of Construction officially opens

The Milton Keynes College of Construction was officially opened this week by housing minister Baroness Andrews. The college will address a shortage of construction skills in the Milton Keynes area and will help deliver infrastructure and housing. More than 500 students aged between 16 and 19 will train in bricklaying, plastering and plumbing. The ODPM provided almost £1 million to help develop the college.
