Mayer Brown receives a grant from the DTI

Transport planning firm Mayer Brown has received a grant from the DTI to help one of its staff develop transport modelling and analysis skills. The Knowledge Transfer Partnership grant is aimed at enhancing the development of a business by transferring knowledge from university specialists who are working full-time in a company. University of Glamorgan worked with the company to recruit postgraduate electronics engineer student Heng Chen. He will start at Mayer Brown this month to work with an employee on urban design and transport engineering projects throughout the UK.
