CABE takes over

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) is to take over the development of the body that advises on the built environment needs of disabled people. The Inclusive Environment Group will operate as an advisory body to CABE's board of commissioners. It includes representation from a wide cross-section of disabled people, regulators, built environment interests and observers from the government. The collaboration aims to develop a specific remit for access and inclusive design.
