Appointment at East Hampshire District Council

Daryl Phillips is to join East Hampshire District Council as head of planning development services from 15 August. Currently assistant head of planning services at Rushmoor Borough Council, Phillips fills the post vacated by Ian Ellis, who resigned in March after inaccuracies in the council's planning delivery grant submission came to light. Strategic manager Bill Price said that the council is delighted to have recruited a head for the department, which he admitted has been through a "difficult time over the past few months".
