Plans for shopping mall extension in Blackburn

Plans for a £45 million shopping mall extension in Blackburn were submitted by property manager Capital and Regional PLC this week. The application, lodged with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, proposes to extend The Mall by 9,662m2. The extension will replace older shops in the centre's Lord Square section. It will house 20 shops around an atrium and 300 additional car parking spaces.
