Venture set up to drive investment in East Midlands

A joint venture has been set up to drive investment in renewal sites across the East Midlands. The East Midlands Property Investment Fund is a partnership between the East Midlands Development Agency, English Partnerships and Igloo Regeneration. It has bought £35 million worth of properties to create schemes in Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, with an end value of more than £500 million. Further sites will be added as the fund recycles its capital to redevelop urban priority areas in Corby, Northampton and Lincoln.
