SDG to assess phase

Engineering feasibility for the second phase of the East London Transit scheme is to be assessed by Steer Davies Gleave (SDG) for Transport for London. The transport consultancy, which worked on phase one of the project, will also produce a business case for the suggested route linking Barking town centre to the proposed Thames Gateway Bridge via the Docklands Light Railway at Gallions Reach. Working with partners Parsons Brinckerhoff, SDG will develop a feasible route option, passenger demand forecasts and capital cost estimates.
