Legal agreement paves way for scheme next to Snow Hill station

A legal agreement paving the way for a mixed-use scheme next to Snow Hill station in Birmingham was signed last week. The deal, together with highways layout modifications, were approved by Birmingham City Council, allowing developer Ballymore Properties to progress the development, which already has outline permission. The £200 million project will include offices, homes, shops and leisure facilities overlooking a public plaza in front of St Chad's Cathedral. The site is currently used as a car park.
