RPS wins special award for restoration

RPS has won a special award for its restoration of the Mall city park in Armagh, Northern Ireland. The accolade from the Civic Trust praises the renewal of the park, which was created in 1773 by Church of Ireland Archbishop Robinson. It fell into disrepair in the 1990s with boundary walls decaying, fields left undrained, steps becoming dangerous and trees dying. Restoration work paid for by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Armagh City and District Council was completed last March.
