AWM publish plans

Plans for rural communities have been published by regional development agency Advantage West Midlands (AWM). The document is split into five areas: regenerating communities, supporting business growth, learning and skills, developing a modern rural infrastructure and championing the rural West Midlands. In Staffordshire the agency supports a county-based rural hub, a business-led network to share best practice in the regions. The plans also contain AWM's first public commitments towards the Countryside Agency since it took on a large part of managing its budget from 1 April. Rural Renaissance is available from AWM (e-mail) ianbaker@advantagewm.co.uk.
