Renew study being developed

A £750,000 study to inform investment in north Staffordshire over the next 15 to 20 years is being developed for pathfinder Renew North Staffordshire and English Partnerships. The urban core study will cover central areas of Stoke-on-Trent, including the city centre, its surrounding neighbourhoods and the 200ha derelict Etruria Valley site. It will also feature an economic feasibility study into restoring the 500m-long Burslem branch of the Trent and Mersey Canal in Middleport. Jones Lang LaSalle and London 2012 Olympic bid masterplanner EDAW are members of the team that will carry out the project.
