Some commissions never venture outside the M25 but the TCPA practices what it preaches, going out to listen to people on their home ground. Later on, a visit to the biomes at Eden - a project that captures the imagination, attracts nearly 1.5 million visitors a year, contributes handsomely to the Cornish economy and employs hundreds of people. This is lottery money well spent. Contrast it with Doncaster's soon-to-close Earth Centre, where fun takes second place to a worthy message.
