Masterplan to regenerate area of Belfast city centre

A masterplan to regenerate the Royal Avenue and Cathedral Quarter area of Belfast city centre is being drawn up. The plan, to be completed by December, will address the range, mix and location of uses to maximise the retail-led regeneration area near Belfast Cathedral. Following the masterplan, the Northern Ireland executive will prepare a development brief to provide more detailed guidance on the type of regeneration scheme that it would support.
