Hull to benefit from funding

Hull is to benefit from more than £20 million in funding from regional development agency Yorkshire Forward to drive the regeneration of the city. The money is in addition to nearly £40 million of investment made by Yorkshire Forward and Hull City Council. The allocation will help to fund redevelopment at Albion Square, public realm improvements at Queens Gardens, waterfront regeneration at Humber Quays and a residential community at East Bank and Blaydes Dock. The cash comes on stream once match funding from partners has been confirmed.
