Business brief: Urban Splash profits soar

The profits of property developer Urban Splash have soared by more than 50 per cent for the 16-month period ending 31 March 2004. The 52 per cent increase brings profits to £6,334,000. New projects include Fort Dunlop in Birmingham, Lister Mills in Bradford and the Royal William Yard in Plymouth. The company has received 18 awards during the period and been placed 24th in the Sunday Times profit top 100 list and 16th in the BBC's top 50 cultural movers and shakers list.
