Regeneration News brief: Arup commissioned for waterfront development in Bradford

Consultancy Arup has been commissioned to look into the potential for reopening the Bradford Canal and developing the city's waterfront. The regeneration would include leisure facilities and new housing. British Waterways, Bradford City Council and urban regeneration company Bradford Centre Regeneration commissioned the study, with support from the INTERREG funding programme. If the scoping study has a positive outcome, a full feasibility study into reopening it will be commissioned.
