Regeneration News brief: London Development Agency launches consultation

The London Development Agency has launched consultation on the future of Crystal Palace Park in the south-east of the capital. Suggestions for the 81ha site include six options for the park's National Sports Centre. Among the options are major refurbishment to extend the lifespan of the existing centre and building a new facility closer to the park's entrance and public transport links. Plans for the park itself include reclaiming concreted areas for parkland and improving links to local centres. The consultation runs until 26 September.
