Regeneration News brief: English Partnerships draws up shortlist

English Partnerships has drawn up a shortlist of six developers for a mixed-use development at the former RAF Staff College in Bracknell. The quango bought the 44ha site from Defence Estates earlier this year to ensure that housing was built on it. The candidates will submit designs for the project by the end of autumn, when a lead developer will be chosen to help produce a masterplan for the site. The shortlisted organisations are Taylor Woodrow, Crest Nicholson with London and Quadrant Group, Linden Homes with the Guinness Trust, David Wilson with Thames Valley Housing Association, George Wimpey Special Projects and Countryside Properties.
