Regeneration News brief: Scheme in Wisbech gets funding

A regeneration scheme in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire has been given £10 million funding to kick-start redevelopment work. The Nene Waterfront development will comprise 400 new homes, restaurants, businesses, leisure facilities and environmental improvements. The East of England Regional Development Agency provided £4 million, with the rest of the cash coming from European Objective 2 funding, English Partnerships, Fenland District Council and Cambridgeshire County Council.
