Business brief: Consent granted for conversion of McIntyre Charitable Trust special school

Planning and listed building consent has been granted for the conversion of the McIntyre Charitable Trust's special school and the construction of a school and access route at Wingrave, near Aylesbury. The approvals, obtained by Development Land and Planning, will see new facilities for specialist education for up to 40 children with severe learning difficulties. The school was formerly housed in the grade II listed Mount Tabor Manor. This and the attendant stable buildings will now be converted to 14 flats within formal landscaped gardens.
