Wembley Stadium's arch was illuminated in a ceremony to celebrate the arena reaching its full height of 133m last week. The event, attended by prime minister Tony Blair and England football captain David Beckham, featured a fireworks display. The national stadium, due to reopen in 2006, will seek to boost London's 2012 Olympic bid and deliver community benefits.
