Regeneration News in Brief: House regeneration scheme in Leicester

A £16 million housing regeneration scheme in Leicester will be driven forward by affordable housing provider Lovell and Touchstone Housing Association. A total of 130 houses will be built across the Beaumont Leys estate, replacing outdated 1970s homes. Around a third of the homes will be for rent and shared ownership while the rest will be for open-market sale. Work on the two-year scheme is set to begin next spring.
