Business briefs: Three city centre projects in Sheffield ...

Three city centre projects in Sheffield have secured planning permission following negotiations by Development Land & Planning Consultants. A mixed-use development featuring a 22-storey glass-fronted tower will be built on the edge of the city centre near the ring road and Ecclesall Road. The scheme provides 233 flats, nine live-work units and A1, A3, B1 and D2 uses. An old car sales site on Fitzwilliam Street will be transformed into a six to eight-storey building with 40 flats. A constrained site at the rear of a listed building on Devonshire Street will be developed as 43 private flats.
