Business briefs: Parallel studies of what ...

Parallel studies of what sustainable development means for Bishop's Stortford and East Hertfordshire are to be carried out by Roger Evans Associates and Land Use Consultants. The work for East Hertfordshire District Council has been prompted by national and regional planning guidance. Bishop's Stortford is a key element in the M11 corridor growth area in the government's sustainable communities plan. Growth will be considered for the town as a whole and in relation to sustainability across the district. The two-pronged approach seeks to find ways of adding to the town's assets rather than building on isolated development sites.
