Regeneration brief: 1960s tower blocks to be demolished

Two large 1960s tower blocks in the centre of Bradford will be demolished to make way for a 46,500 sq m commercial development. The 6.4ha Broadway scheme, which includes a shopping centre, is the result of a partnership between Bradford City Council and developer Stannifer. The centre forms part of the council's £20 million plan for the city centre.
