Regeneration News: Carmarthenshire CC forced back to drawing board

Carmarthenshire County Council has been forced back to the drawing board after its seventh plan in 18 months for the redevelopment of Carmarthen town centre was rejected by residents. The proposal forms part of a multi-million pound plan to extend the former cattle market site, which has provoked concern among market traders and residents. The council claims that the proposals would leave the market in "the same position" as it is now.
