In Brief: Planning recommendations for affordable housing

Planning recommendations to help deliver affordable housing in rural Wales will be taken forward in revised guidance, according to planning minister Carwyn Jones. The minister has responded to a report from the Welsh Assembly Government's environment, planning and countryside committee, published in January, which seeks more flexible planning policies on housing. Jones said that many of the committee's recommendations would be worked into Technical Advice Note 2 on planning and affordable housing.
