Business briefs: Faber Maunsell appointed to study development pressures

Faber Maunsell has been appointed to study development pressures on the A921 Redhouse Corridor to the north of Kirkcaldy by Fife Council. The firm will assess the practicalities of proposed infrastructure improvements in the area and develop alternative schemes. East Ayrshire Council has also commissioned the firm to help design public transport corridors and traffic management options on routes from Kilmarnock to Darvel, Cumnock and Crosshouse as well as town centre access for Cumnock.
