IN BRIEF: Regeneration of the Greenwich Peninsula ...

Regeneration of the Greenwich Peninsula, including a change of use for the Millennium Dome, was granted planning permission this week by the London Borough of Greenwich. The go-ahead comes after the council, developers Meridian Delta, Anschutz Entertainment Group and English Partnerships agreed on a community benefits package for the area. The project aims to provide 10,000 homes, with 3,800 affordable and many targeted at key workers. The Dome will become an entertainment and sports complex to be developed by Anschutz.
